No EDM hole in hyd lifters....for obvious reasons. You can groove the lifter using a Dremel for more oil to the lobe/lifter interface. Been doing it for 30 yrs...... If you do not want lobe/lifter failure, find some factory lifters & get them re-faced....

RRR, People use newer products because they are often better. There have been several iterations of Dexron trans fluid as an example. In post #13, I switched from mineral oil to synthetic & got the results noted. Elec ign v points is another example....
