[FOR SALE] 1970 340 complete engine (six pack tribute)

I have a 1970 340 engine with 680 miles on it since being rebuilt. This was professionally built by a well-known stock/super stock NHRA builder. It is a solid roller cam with Harland Sharp rockers. The one and ONLY issue with this engine is we made the decision (which I regret now) to not bush...

    So... What did I buy?

This will be a long story but follow along as I could use your help. I'm always looking for 340 small block parts. If it says 340 I'll go check it out. If it's a deal it's mine. I have always been a fan of it, the giant killer. So I found an ad a few months ago for some Mopar stuff in a barn...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I got my frontend on my 73 Scamp the way I want and now thinking about making a fiberglass hood and my own design on the scoop. Not sure if I will, I know I can do it just going to give it some thought right now.

    A Body Tire Clearance

I can only confirm what I've dealt with, but OK. FWIW, my '74 Duster had its factory 8.25, all the rest except 1 Slant -6 '73 Dart had 8.75s. In every case, the springs (whether with small relocation kit or stock), the wheelhouse size, and the opening were limiting factors, especially with the...

Carb idle adjust screws . Need help finding these

Fyi... These are specific to the CAP carburators and they have a setscrew that captures them into the carb base. Most don't know the setscrew is there and wrench on the idle screw till they break it.

    Exhaust tips identification please!!!!

An easy way to Identify them with a picture is . The height of the L bracket A-bodies are shorter. Also all a-bodies are the same length except for Cars with a rear valance and they have the hanger on the flat part of the tip. Also all A-body Barracuda and 70 Darts are different between...

    A Body Tire Clearance

There are several members running 255's on 15x7's with 70+ Darts and the springs in the stock locations. My own '71 Dart has enough room to do that. The backspace on the wheels has to be perfect, but it's possible on some cars. 245's should fit pretty much all Darts if the wheels have the proper...

BLUEPRINT ENGINES LAUNCHES GEN III HEMI COMPATIBLE INTAKE MANIFOLD AND FUEL RAIL KIT. 2009+ Eagle / Apache. AND HELLCAT THROTTLE BODY!

Thanks for the interest! For some OEM ECU's, I've found that a hard TPS reset is needed to reset the throttle position to zero. Most claim that all you need is to scan/clear for codes, as it does a soft reset, and/or disconnect the battery over night, but in some cases, you can still see some...

    A Body Tire Clearance

'74 Valiant - so it's a Scamp, right ? Which means it has Dart wheel wells & openings. They don't accept much with an 8x15 wheel, if that's the size you're planning. Springs and wheelhouse and wheel opening restrict wheel/tire size to 15x7 & 235/60s on the Darts I had & a Buddy's '70 Dart. 15x8s...

    Eric's cam challenge

True, but seems the test was mainly for BTR, he wanted to see why his bigger cam didn't do so well (19th place), now it's up there with the top two and better than his 10th place cam, but yes who knows overall where they would be without testing the other 18 cams. But they did get some pretty...
