    Extra oil passages-early 340

    In the current issue of Mopar Collectors Guide, a gentleman stated that his 6-67 date coded 340 block has 4 oil passages in the valley, instead of two. Two of them are capped off. My 6-67 block is the same. I'm now very curious as to why they were cast in. I wonder if Mopar had other oiling...

    Mancini has complete 340 sets for a really good price. How do I calculate the shipping/handling charges on their site? I have heard horror stories about high costs of shipping/handling. Anyone have other options for complete sets?

    I have a 340 with a date of June 22 1967. Did any of these early blocks have any quirks? When did they go into production?
