That is correct the steering boxes are completely interchangeable on bolting to the K frame, but the 73 and up has the large sector, and thus the flipped center link attachment (see post 29 in this thread)

Supposedly US Cartool has taken over the production/sales of the old Schumacher mounts. Their website doesn't show them but it's probably worth a call if that is the direction you were wanting to go.

I'm in Central Illinois, near Peoria. The only slant six K frame I had was the one that came out of my 71 Demon....I also have a couple of V8 K frames that I bought for this swap, both pad and spool mount that are now just taking space up in my basement!
