Whut you get for Christmas ?

This was my favorite. Softest shirt I own now. It was from the official Mopar gift shop. I grew up on the KJV and have two. I've got “car Bibles” so they fill that need well as I drive anywhere from 3-4 different cars per week. Jesus take the wheel! :steering:

Only way I’ve ever done it is removing the tank, tapping them out and resoldering it. If it’s really bothering you, clean it real well, tin, fill and shape with solder

    New Turn Signal Cancel Adjustment

You may have installed a new turn signal switch to find it does not cancel. In my case the spring clamp post on the back of the steering wheel was missing the return tabs on the switch. Bending the post seemed impossible as it is pretty heavy guaged and it's spring steel/ wrapped around the hub...

    So... What did I buy?

Any 340 block found today under $1000 is a good find. They are 50 years old and very few left out here. I have sold complete clean standard bore short blocks for as high as $2000. blocks .030 over bare for as high as $1000. HP 383's are even harder to find. Many threw them away and...

I put a Church Boys Racing r&p conversion kit into my '63 Chevy II a couple of years ago (Covid project...no more Chevys!). Engineered designs are the only way to go but not cheap. I believe the r&p was from Detroit Speed.

Karrin got me an Alice in Chains man in the box T-shirt not framed in a shadowbox but it fits. The Hanes boxer briefs with the extra pouch for old man balls. She even let me take them out of her purse to make sure they fit.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning John. My son called me this morning and he is on his way back from picking up that truck in Missouri. Looks like I didn't go, so maybe this summer I can come down for a visit.

I know the New Vintage Auto Gauges have an odometer base mileage programming function, I would think that the other gauges are similar in that respect.

The first day of the year in the shop didn’t disappoint, despite the cold. I removed most of the old floor (the outer edges will be addressed once the quarters are off) and fabricated a new rear crossmember, planning to replace the lower valance section. I also spent some time sanding the...

I successfully met my goal of completing the front half of the car before the new year. Now, it's time to focus on the back portion. I started by chiseling out all the old sealer, removing the old latch brace, smoothing the lock opening, and clearing out the mess of the filler panel from the gas...
