if there is power to the bulb, then take the bulb out and check the return to ground with a powered test light or ohm meter. If by 'power' you mean battery voltage, their could be a poor connection that shows voltage when the circuit it open but will drop when current is trying to get through...

New slip yokes are available, but heads-up, they are made in china and can be wildly out of balance. If you buy new, re-balance the shaft.

There are replacements for each type of ujoint (inside or outside snap ring) and six to seven inch lengths. 904 is 26 spline, 1.558" sleeve od. Figure out what you have for length and ujoint/snaps.
