Blipp’n the accelerationator a bit.

It’s so tempting and would be sooo much easier! I tried to mock something up that would go down and snake its way past the k frame and towards the rear but just too much crap in the way. I just got some stainless 2”. I’m going to merge it into the downpipe. I know, boring.

The coil brackets I CAD’d and sent out to be cut interfered with the push in filters so had to rethink that. So I had bungs TIG’d in the valve covers. I’ll route from the valve cover to the catch can now.

Started it up for first time in a while. I still need to fab the waste gate dump.

Probably still more expensive than a 5-axis CNC machine and definitely less consistent.

Oh it can totally be tuned out. It’s just so minor I haven’t paid much attention to it. And it’s actually its own table that sits on top of the VE table and adds/subtracts from the main VE.

Sounds wicked good! Make sure you're out of ASE (Afterstart enrichment) before you tweak the VE Tables. Looks like you probably are because I see CLT is around 170. Idle was a challenge for me and off-idle/accelerator enrichment is my Kryptonite. I still have a flat spot coming off idle with...

Sounds good, AFR looks really stable at idle.

Check the basics before you tidy up the wiring. Make sure injectors and coils are wired in the correct order with correct outputs. Use the test feature in TunerStudio to confirm. If that looks good, run the tooth logger and make sure your crank and cam sensors look stable. Check timing also and...

Walker is the manufacturer and the part numbers are in that pic of yours. But not sure if those fit factory manifolds. I used Walkers for Magnum manifolds.

Nice build! Judging by those exhaust housings it looks like the smaller GT35 turbos which I would think would spool pretty quick on a 383ci.

Just sent these off to be cut. I made them to bolt to the Magnum valve covers using long spacers but could be adapted to LA easily. Just a simple 1/8” aluminum plate with holes to mount the D585 coils using 1/2” standoffs. Hopefully they fit OK.

Got the biggest chunk of the downpipe fabbed and tacked together. Placement turned out really well. Not sure how or where I’m going to dump the exhaust. 4” exhaust anywhere under the car is tight.

Are you guys with the VS 7875 running an oil restrictor? The old eBay 7875 had one on it and I never had any issues and I have a fat return line but I’m reading conflicting info about the VS turbos. I have a stock volume oil pump. @turbovan ?

Made a sturdy bracket out of 1/4” plate today. My welds are crude but my v-bands and everything lined up perfectly.

Made progress in finishing the hot side. Mocking up the downpipe now. I think I’m going to have to bend it a bit with pie cuts to move it away from the plug wires.

Looking for some lightweight wheels 15x10 with about a 5” backspace 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I’d like some Cragar Super Tricks or Centerline Autodrags or similar. They don’t need to be perfect, just straight and hold air. Thanks!

Not sure what your long term goals are but I’d advise you to scope out your fuel system to handle more boost then what you initially intend. Big injectors, plenty of pump (I run 2x AEM 400s) 8AN feed and return lines and a sumped fuel cell. If you have access to E85, run it.
