Thoughts on early vs. late Slants.

The original ’66 engine is mated to a manual trans, whereas the ’81 van engine is mated to an automatic.

Thoughts on early vs. late Slants.

Something to watch out for: A lot of slant six engines did not have the pilot bushing hole in the crank finish reamed to the correct size, if the engine was getting an automatic trans. The hole is drilled, but not finished. The pilot bushing will not fit these cranks. NAPA used to sell an...

    Sad

Yeah, it's really sad to see the 64-65 Plymouth B body cars going away. They are my favorite of that era, at one time I owned 6 of them at the same time. It all started with the first 64 Sport Fury 426 wedge with a a speed and then I bought the other 5 over the next year. I worked on them and...

[FOR SALE] Magnum Parts 360 and 408 rotating assemblies.

Will the magnum rods and pistons work in a LA 360? If so would you sell just the rods and pistons and ship them? I would use the crank but the shipping is likely more than I could get my crank ground for. Thanks Jim

[WANTED] Looking for a hotter hyd roller cam for a 5.2 magnum

Try Utawsome first if looking for new. Magnum engines is pretty much ALL they do & since they were introduced in the early 90s. Marty & his staff will point you in the right direction. They know a lot about Magnums. Try Hughes Engines also.

Power Disc conversion/ proportioning valve question

I fully agree with your bleeder positioning analysis, but I respectfully disagree with your second statement. I think there is a misunderstanding of what I was trying to illustrate here. You are right, the Teflon tape is not needed to seal a closed bleeder screw, as they seal with an angled seat...
