    piston questions

I forgot, the Dakota had an M1 2bbl on it when we got it. It stayed until I finished the kegger. It was a torque less mess as well. The M1 I'm sure would run great in the right pkg, but in a 4K plus truck that is a daily it's not the right intake. An A body with a clutch or the right...

    piston questions

It was the cam. I had the M1 on the 85 Ram with a Thermoquad as the throttle body. SOGGY bottom end, but 3000 to fuel cut off the M1 pulled great. Swapped the kegger onto the Ram when we parked out the Dakota and the kegger fills the bottom end torque hole of the M1 and rips to fuel cut. I feel...

    Figured id share my garbage..

Dropped the block off December 7th, it was done on the 12th and never got a call. Picked it up last Saturday. Brushed some hemi orange on it and knocked the freeze plugs in it. Need to order main and rod bearings and start putting it together. As a bonus. My dad cruised over in with his real...

67 Barracuda Front Shocks - Reducing amount of bounce

Part of what's happening is body roll. That's why you're not seeing any rubbing on rough roads. When you're hitting the end of your driveway, there's several things going on. Your wheels are turned, which can decrease clearance to the fender with tall tires. You're going downhill, so, more...

    Weather Stripping 69 Dart

Also, where in the hell is the speaker hidden in these things? It's got a radio in the dash. I'm guessing there is a speaker hidden under the dash? This has been haunting me for a few years.

    Weather Stripping 69 Dart

Hello y'all, Looking into replacing the weather stripping. I have never attempted this before, so I am figuring this out as I go. The door weather stripping has nearly completely disintegrated so it seems like time. I posted earlier about fixing a headlight issue and a few posters here noticed...

Is there a way to evacuate air from a slant six cooling system?

Removing & then refilling a cooling system ALWAYS results in some trapped air. Fill the system & get the enngine up to operating temp. That will purge the air. Let cool down overnight & then top up the system. Repeat the process [ may take 2-4 times ] until you can no longer add coolant.

With the mods, I would run the 750 Carter. I am in Sydney [ North shore ] & can help with jetting if needed.

How long does this take? The factory gauges will move fast the first time the key is turned on (by design) once the IVR normalizes they react very slowly.

    69 Dart Headlights Issue

Glad you got it all functional. The plastic part is reproduced, saw one recently. If not put a wanted ad and some one will have a good used one. My 67 dart had the same issue. I cleaned up the switch contacts and replaced the plastic and tightened the terminals. All good now

Strut rod washers.... correct way to use.

Not always, it depends on the design and manufacturer of the bushing... Always read the manufacturer's installation instructions...

    65 Dart GT Convertible

Welcome to FABO. No clue on how to tell if the wheel cylinders are originals, but you should be able to work the differential cover loose with a putty knife. Just keep working your way around until it's free. The putty knife blade is thin, so it should not bend the cover. It's gonna be a messy...
