Stop in for a cup of coffee

I saw a Falcon at a car show with an FE big block of unknown displacement. The shock towers were cut off and the hole patched in a structurally sound manner. I peaked in the wheel well and coil overs and a new mount were doing the spring thing.

Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

Sorry for getting a little morbid here, but my brother was just diagnosed with Parkinson's, and while they were over for Christmas he asked me if I would be interested in his C6 'Vette, as our other brother would absolutely trash it in no time flat. This one: He's only 4 years older than me...

One more about batteries, as a kid I had an old GMC 1/2 ton the battery was low on water. I was pumping gas after school at a service station. Thought I’d be nice to my battery so I topped it up with electrolyte, battery puked in 12 hr dead no amount of charging helped. Learned a lesson that day.

Butters "Winter Upgrades". . Starting a Little Early

Trying out the USCT dbw pedal bracket. In the first 2 pics, it's installed per their install video. Just seems really close to the brake pedal. I can just see myself braking and hitting the gas at the same time. I kinda did that with the stock setup on occasion. The last 2 pics, I flipped the...

Driveshaft orientation, '72 Duster 4 speed

I have some both ways and some shafts stepped on both ends. My guess would be to the rear for more room to undo the u joint strap bolts?

Toughing it out on my perch

Good for you Don, enjoy all you can! We been to Isla Mujeres a few times (day trip only from Cancun) to the North beach, touring the island on golf carts and zip lines. Have to plan a stay there sometime.

    Engine compartment light

I’ve stripped over 12 of these early abodies and never an under hood light. There are a lot of people who resell parts and make them seem like they are must have items for your car. You need to know your car and not waste the money.

    The need for motivation.

I couldn't agree more. Most days I don't feel like starting anything, but once I get going, I won't stop. That's how I renovated my bathroom.....Kept looking at it and thinking "tomorrow".....Then one morning I put a sledge hammer through the wall and it was "game on".

DUMB MECHANICAL OIL PRESSURE GAUGE QUESTION

I used a plastic line when I installed my oil pressure gauge a few years ago but switched to a braided line shortly after. With the plastic line the gauge worked fine. After switching to the braided line my gauge bounces around all the time now and doesn’t give a solid reading. Anyone have an...

Non-Mopar car you wish you had purchased?

Me too. I've never been particular on car manufacturers, there's always something from the big three that catches my eye. I stumbled across a '71 Scamp and I bought it. I had never even heard of a Scamp. But it was all over after that. What non-Mopar car? I have always loved the '66-67 Chevy...
