Agreed! But apparently you can get brass ones from Tractor Supply, so all is not lost.
But now that I think about it a little, I'm not sure if doing so would be good...or bad...or just plain weird!

These were removed from a 1975 Plymouth Valiant. Look at pictures they are not perfect but nice driver quality. There and off white color. They had mirrors clipped to them that the indentations. Look at pictures. Asking 40.00 shipped and are sold as is. Thanks
The guy I'm buying my Ramcharger from in Reno sent me a couple pics of his Cuda. It has a 383 stroked out I think he said to a 496 with HP and torque numbers between 600 and 650
take a snapped hacksaw blade
grind 1 inch length of the tooth side down until you end up with a strip that is the width of the hole in the connector. trim length if necessary to get the right amount of pry/press/twist to ping back the tang
press the none ground end with the blade mounting...
