    How to set breaker points?

You do not need a machine. All you need is for the points rubbing block to be on the highest point of the distributor cam, then set the points to .017 and check the dwell. If running a dual point distributor all you need is a business card to block one set of points at a time while you check...

duly noted. I'd have to start off with small projects, and work my way up to auto's and motorcycle frames. I'm in with guys that restore old bikes and since we are all up there in age, furniture now... lol

1997 dodge ram B2500 van heating issue

You can buy a manual valve and put it where the vacuum valve is. Used to cost a few bucks at parts store. Turn it on in the winter, off in the summer. Crude solution, but it works. The heat never worked well in my 1998 dodge van. Wish I knew about the bleeding trick. Maybe that would have helped.

Interesting. I didnt think the 65 and 69 mustangs were much different. The drop is 1” square off the original holes, early ones were a little forward. Good thing i did some reading.

    Choke thermostat problem

Hello Dan I suppose that you especially talk about the metallic gasket which goes between the exhaust manifold and the intake one (the head to manifolds gasket is thick and composite and IMHO won't be tricky). Effectively, it's made of a thin metallic leaf and I don't plan to use it. Remflex...

    dumb question my boy asked

In Manitoba when you hit 6 demerits points you are required to go to what is called a show cause hearing. Basically the guy just belittles you. I was 22 and driving the Dart. Got half way through the interview stood up threw my license on the desk and left. A week later my license came back in...
