I just read that Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary passed yesterday at 86.
Such great music...
So many hits...
So many memories...
His daughter posted the following...
"As you may know, our beloved father Peter Yarrow has been battling cancer for some time. He has kept his doctors in awe at...
2 cal fires added to the map since last night. One right in the middle of Van Nuys I think it is :realcrazy: The other, somehow it managed to get Yucca Trees and creosote to burn near Palm Springs. That one in Van Nuys, there is a park with a lake in that area, the rest of that area is...
As I said above my 69 slant was turquoise, I've had a few of them, not much paint left on this one but where there is paint it is turquoise, 69 Dart Western Sport Special...
Gas eats the inside and age ruins the outside. A small engine with a primer starts so much easier in cold weather. It's like an accelerator pump shot when we start our old cars.
Just getting myself caught-up on this, and this fire (these three fires, actually) look nasty.
Not much else I can say or do, here in MN, other than wish best of luck to everyone out there.
Be safe, everyone.
That’s how I made my street t ram. Ordered a Chevy top from summit and bolted right on to my tr5. Don’t know if it’s still available from summit. Great street intake.
Hard to believe that they put those primer bulb on equipment that's made to be in ice cold weather!! Is it the 'soft' bulb or those cheap clear looking ones? I have a very old Toro lawn mower and it uses a soft one that you can't see through. Had the mower since the mid/late 80's and have only...
I like the look of the redline tires on the 1960's mopars. I think the redlines would look good on your car.
I got my redline tires from Diamondback tires. Diamond Back III - 14 Inch White Wall Tires & 15 Inch White Wall Tires
They are BF Goodrich radial T/A's that have the white letters...
I could see smaller carbs potentially helping to offset the plenum issue as well. Figure you're going to have a little better airspeed through them to keep things moving, which could help them operate a little more effectively. I bought my car with a 318 that had a Carter AFB on top that I...
I couldn't remember what they called it, a 'show cause hearing' yes, they wanted you to beg to not have your license yanked. Then if they did yank it, you could go the kangaroo court of appeal to try and get it back.
I had a few of those hearings, the last one was after I had a conviction for...
I don't know if you can still get them or not, but I originally did my Hemi swap with Schumacher mounts and a 4 speed with TTI headers. I really didn't have to touch any structure to make it work. The stock (well, I assume, who knows what they did to my car before) Z bar worked fine and the...
You may want to look into the Edelbrock VRS carb series. Both the 750 & 850 have annular boosters. Though it resembles a Holley carb, Edelbrock completely redesigned how this carb works. I've watched several videos on how it performs both on the street and track.
