Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

I would assume that the 52 degrees overlap is based on 0.006 lift and not 0.050 just like their duration numbers (or whatever low lift number they used). My Oregon cam card shows 42 degrees overlap.

    Insight on cam numbers

I have some notes from a previous owner on the cam in my 1965 Dart GT. 273 hipo with 1985 318 pocket ported heads, Holley street dominator intake, Carter afb 4bbl, electronic ignition, and spitfire headers. I'm not very knowledgeable on cam profiles. It does have hydraulic lifters. Good, bad...

Big Issue on harnesses from Classic Industries

M&H builds them for Year one. Year one is the only place you can get the M&H harness. Year one owns the reproduction connectors for these cars so they are exclusive through Year one.

I wish more people would give a thumbs up or a thanks. I love to post on my build. Acknowledgment that you took the time to look or comment makes me keep going. Thanks to anyone who has ever looked at my stuff. I really enjoy seeing the best of the best to the guy who may not have a big budget...

    Dash Frame Fitment

@CFD244 @HemiSSDart So I think I have found a frame, it is from a 1970 Duster, the owner of it says that it will fit my Swinger, but I would like verification from the FABO experts on this, will it fit??

    Dash Frame Fitment

Hey Doug. Turns out that your dash wont be a suitable donor, it doesnt have the necessary bezel mounts for a rallye bezel, and the radio mounts are different, but it is very close! I thank you very much for the offer though, if you are ever in 'Toon, message me and Ill buy you a beer :)

New Oregon cam in my 360 magnum

That thing should run HARD right up to the point the kegger manifold gives up, 4900 rpm or so. You need an intake badly.

I would use no type of clear. Regardless if it's paint or powder coat, it will eventually yellow. What I would do is go with a powder coat color in an aluminum shade. Leanna (RIP) had a color called Alien Silver that was drop dead gorgeous.

The VIN would be a 4 4 as a Signet... And as Kevin stated, that wasn't a wagon option It's a cool car, regardless People will be interested in the usual rust out areas... On this the bottom of the tailgate is important.

    Redline or Not

Thanks for all the input. Won't be getting new tires for another couple of months. From what I have read Diamondback uses currently produced tires and then grafts the sidewalls you want onto the tires. If so, has anyone using Diamondback had any problems?

oh make no mistake, as a younger man i've certainly wrangled baskets snakes and burned miles of welding wire in the name of getting it done on the cheap and nasty. but now older and slightly wiser, i'd rather spend a few bucks more and not hate life. besides, if i ever sell a car, my name's on...

Yeah, if it's a big cap HEI (D.U.I.) I doubt it'll even clear the rear carb base. An HEI converted Mopar distributor, maybe.
