Find one of your friends who has a kinetic bullet puller. Or if you don’t want to save bullet worry it out with a pair of pliers, hand clamping on case ONLY. best safest way find someone with a 303 and shoot them in the dirt. The primer will have to be detonated don’t know of any safe way to...

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

Yes, at 9.4:1 I'd consider the light weight steel for sure. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy a 30lb again. You are correct, 1st gear in an OD is 3.09, same as the old Commando boxes. When I had that trans and 3.55's, the light steel was absolutely awesome.

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

...I found out, that it can take the rest of the trans out with it. but I gotta tell ya, that box, by itself, was horrible with my 367 cubes and a 230* cam, never mind what it might be with 25 less cubes and a cam 3 sizes bigger. Sell it, friend, just sell it. For your application, I think I...

 I think I found my way there by accident back in the 70s when I was livin' in Van Nuys and workin' on the 210 up there in Sunland.

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

Well, I am 100% sure that I would NOT run a lightweigt flywheel in your combo. If yur gonna run that combo on the street, Yur gonna find out a few things real quick; 1) those 3.55s are gonna suck, and 2) you'll be begging for a big fat heavy flywheel, and 3) you just cannot idle it down slow...

    Fender tag date code.

Thanks for the info. Most likely the drums were swapped years ago. No way to tell really. By the way, it's a front disc brake, factory A/C car. PS.... A56, research Mopar red brake drums.

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

I "think" that my A833 trans has a 2.66 first gear but I need to get the book out and verify that before I make a move. That would put me at (2.66 x 3.55) 9.4:1 currently If I'm reading you right, which is considerably short of the 11:1 for aluminum. Even more reason to stay with one of the...

it's right where spring/fall fling is held. it's a fairly sizeable area, but nobody lives *right there* so the reports on extent are somewhat limited.

They did not. A friend has a junk wagon but he doesn't want to part it yet, another guy is 'supposed' to buy the wagon whole.

it's down in the basin/park area. there's some farms and the golf course and outdoor recreation over there. but yeah, it's basically in the middle of town hemmed in by the 101 & 405. if that gets out of control it's a bad situation, it's very dense down there just across the freeways. good...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

So the NHL postponed the game in LA due to that fire nearby. Now NFL is showing concern for the Purple Gang and the Lamms wildcard game. Shall we send that game to Minnesota  ? Riiight  The Faiders aren't doing anything, let's send them to Vegas. Just a crazy thought I had...

Rusty, it took a while to dig up my info. The work order back around 1990 said R-4452761 DC, the stock #P3412044 (276 and .460 lift. (Manual) DC Purple shaft P3690213 (268 and .450 lift) Stock #2899206 (auto) Not sure of the odd # on the work order, but it was a Purple DC. I did have the box...

I think Denny has probably done the most out of anyone regarding the geometry of his set up, even including Bill Reilly at RMS who definitely knows a ton about suspension geometry as well, since he was the one that did the actual geometry assessment of the FMJ spindles to show that Ehrenberg was...
