67 Barracuda Front Shocks - Reducing amount of bounce

It is pretty much a known fact that 225/70-14 will rub on the front of a Barracuda at full lock on jounce. It's not the shocks — it's the tire is too tall and wide. Either cut the front corner of the wheel opening or drop down to 215/70-14 which works fine.

    Do I have the wrong wiper arm/blade set-up ?

What the Professor said -- they are adjustable in tiny increments by the teeth on the shafts. Just keep moving both of them by the same amount until they park correctly. It's fiddly but doable. It will help you evaluate the positions accurately if you do it with the windshield wet.

67 Barracuda Front Shocks - Reducing amount of bounce

You've pretty much summed up what I considered going on.....combo of issues. I do feel a bit of sway on sharp curves. I will address the tire issue in responding to another's post.

Finally get to pretend I am one of the cool kids - Holley kit swap

I am so glad I didn't try and put the T56 in my '74. I originally bought the trans and the swap parts to do all of this to that car but when the '73 became available I transitioned the swap to the '73. After the cuts to the floor I wouldn't be surprised if I would have been so disheartened...

    Don’t Do This

I believe this is a /6 so who knows. There are multiple ways of dealing with that. I have had to do both our Mopar small blocks for mechanical gauges, so the tap is in the toolbox. Both aftermarket intakes.

Yes, you can find different size nipple fittings at a good plumbing supply store or online. Who knows why the existing one is wrong for your car? It doesn't matter...

What is a good stall to go with a 3:23 Sure Grip?

With a little bit of patience you'll find a good third member with the gear ratio you're looking for. I've always had luck finding factory third members maybe I've been lucky they've all worked perfectly they are a very solid unit. At that point changing out a center chunk is pretty...

How to properly Adjust 1972 Dodge Demon Torsion Bars

Yes, you will need the engine in the car — the wheels will need to be on the ground with the full normal weight load. The procedure is described in the Factory Service Manual for your model. Get the manual — there is no easy way to describe it without the pictures.

    Holley 750 "stumbles" on WOT

...my three cams, have idled down to around 550/500 rpm in First-gear (manual-trans) and pulling themselves on hard level ground, with as little as 5*Idle-Timing; and they pulled away briskly without drama. Point being; not a one of those cams needed big Idle-Timing. The most I have ever run was...

    Who has done a 5.7 with a833 4 speed Overdrive ?

Just to follow up on the issues with the Holley pan and the suspension, it appears the Holley motor mounts put the crank centerline about 3/4" higher than stock. This means the suspension really can't touch the pan when using the Holley mounts. I don't have a trans bolted up in these pictures...

    piston questions

Being that you brought up manifolds for a carbureted magnum What would you suggest in a 3/4 ton truck w/a stick and 3.55s that tows besides being a daily? I'm thinking for cam something comparable to a comp 260- comp 268ish only in a roller equivalent.

They usually reply by e-mail & may take a couple days to get back to you. They are a small outfit but Marty himself, his daughter or an employee WILL get back to you. The knowledge they have about these Magnum motors will be worth the few days wait.

How to properly Adjust 1972 Dodge Demon Torsion Bars

I am currently swapping my 6 cylinder k frame out of my '72 demon for a v8 k frame out of a '67 Barracuda. I have one side competed with everything bolted back on with new suspension components just waiting on a strut rod bushing to come in the mail because it was all dry rotted and no good. I...

My Edelbrock Performer Rpm intake heater hose nipple seems too big for the hose and clamp I have. There's the small and bigger hose coming from the heater core, and I think I'm correct that the smaller goes to the intake... If that's correct, why would someone have put a different or wrong size...
