67 Barracuda Front Shocks - Reducing amount of bounce

Barracudas need a good offset, not as much room at the front of the fender as a Dart or later a-body. I had 2 different sets of Cragars on the front of my 67 Barracuda, and it has the stainless wheel trim, neither rubbed: 14x6, 4.125 bs, with 215/70/R14. 14x6, 3.75 bs, with 205/70/R14. Now I...

    [WANTED] 62 Valiant Trim

It is exactly 4" from the edge of the stainless to the center of the front mounting hole. I measured the trim piece on the other side, the one that did not fall off, and from the edge of the stainless to the tip of the > shaped trim piece is 4 3/4". This measurement is 3/4" longer because I...

    1958 Dodge

Tell me this trunk floor isn't worth the effort to buy/ship, and I should just make one out of flat steel on top of square steel tubing. My trunk in first pic, gas tank was attached to bottom of trunk floor, but there really isn't anything worth keeping. Trunk dropoffs/extensions and floor...

Day 2 Steering wheels for the A body's (70's) what was it?

Superior "The 500" was put in my 67 soon after it was new. I found an nos wheel wrap and put it on, feels like 1967 plus 1 day. I collect them now, and have put them in a few cars.

    [WANTED] 62 Valiant Trim

If L&R are different, it cannot be by much. I've looked at all the pics I have of my car, and others, as well as both fenders on the parts car I took the passenger fender off of, and I do not see an obvious difference. Not that there isn't. My friend who I got the fender from, also has a 62...

15" wheel size for 60 Valiant

On my 62 I bought the compete front/rear suspension off of a 69 Barracuda (Barracuda was getting full tubular suspension, etc.). The Barracuda already had sbp front disc. Direct bolt in, except needed to use the Valiant front spring hanger and drill the hole for the spring bolt bigger. Not a...

What is the correct master cylinder for manual disc

Takes little effort, stops on a dime. I prefer less pedal travel with the manual brakes. Never felt the need to use 2 feet to stop, it's just not difficult. I may have had the smaller bore before I recently replaced the master, not sure. The only difference I noticed with the new master was...

What is the correct master cylinder for manual disc

Dorman Brake Master Cylinders M88787 Original KH front/drum rear. If the cap leaks, or before you even bolt it on, flip it over on a piece of sandpaper on a really flat surface, metal or glass, and sand it, then sand it some more, then sand it some more. When done, sand it again. Mine never leak.

    [WANTED] SBP Chrome Reverse Wheels

Checking to see if anyone has 2 used small bolt pattern 15" chrome reverse wheels / rims they're not using. Idealy, 15x8, possibly 15x7. Yes, I know. I already have front runners and 14x6 chrome reverse for the rear, I'll run them if needed. Not looking for Centerlines.

    Steering column advise

I was going to rebuild my 67 column, however my column was wasted on the bottom, both the shaft and outer housing. Got a rebuilt 68 column from Norm's, very nice piece. He had a 67 as well, but I went with the 68, doesn't look any different unless you know or care, not sure if it is a better design.

    Current best motor mounts?

Not sure if your mounts are the same style as mine, 67 bb. I went through all the bs with engine mounts. Poly engine mounts are garbage, the engine twists, it does not lift up on the driver's side while the passenger side stays put. New steel engine mounts are garbage, they do not have the...

    Power to everything Nothing works

The negative battery terminal, I bought new last year, was rusted where the cable sits. Yup, I'm a dummy. I'm always chiming in to have good grounds, and add a ground hub next to the battery, blah blah blah. I even made sure the test light had a good ground by clipping it to the battery and...

    [WANTED] 62 Valiant Trim

Looking for front fender V shaped trim for a 62 Valiant Signet 200. Both sides appear to be the same. Daughter drove it to Cars & Coffee, she took pics of the car while there, it was on it, but not once home, bummer. Would consider a pair, as well as the rear trim which is broken. See pics...

    67 Barracuda Reverse Lights

I bypassed my wiper switch years ago, even though I took it apart, cleaned it up, and got it to work and send power for the reverse lights. I bought one off ebay, just went to look and see if it had a part # on it, can't find it. That means I put it somewhere safe, never to be seen again.
