Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

I was going to mention that. I just had an ultradyne H31 ground. It’s a 280 (adv) duration cam and [email protected]. So the valve events on the intake lobe are the same as the spreadsheet if ICL are the same. I doesn’t seem likely that a factory 268 cam has the same 050 numbers and valve events as an...

Finally get to pretend I am one of the cool kids - Holley kit swap

Thanks for the list! You've pointed out the hoops you had to jump through for your lower hose once before (I think?), and it did raise some concern for me. I did some research on it back then and for now I am feeling ok that it will work fine. But that will be an area that needs to be mocked...

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

Definitely. The 340 4 speed cam is 240/247 in the spreadsheet vs 221/227 from Oregon Cam who based their grind on a factory cam.

Feel like my 440 should be faster

So, L2355 pistons…….flat top 4 valve reliefs? Looks like 9.38 is “close”, at worst.

    Old Race 340 Teardown

I've had an interesting time starting to put this engine back together. With all my measurements made and inspections done I discovered that I could not find a source for rod bearings with the dowel pin hole that these rods require. So I had to rig up a way to cut the holes myself. I bought a...

Not sure what your goal is, but personally i wouldn’t knowingly put a 1000 gram rod in anything.

Rewiring my EFI Magnum - 1970 Dart Swinger

Headlights yes but never brake lights. I would imagine those bulbs pull less than 2 or so amps when lit and only while braking. No need for a relay. The 18awg should handle that just fine, especially with a short, good, ground.

    sand blasting

Not sure where I should post this thread its kind of a random question, I'm wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much media an average size sand blaster goes through while blasting? I know there are a million variables but just some examples would be great. Thank you

    Built 904 Transmission

Well that's not true at all. You have to wait for the right guy. I bought my car for way less than it's worth and could sell it now for $50K. Same with the trans. A serious racing guy will know. I have more info on the tranny now and actually the guy at TCS that built it contacted me through FB...
