Another method. Scribe lines on the t/blades each side of the shafts for final positioning; mark blade position. Blade screws are staked. Grind off the staking so that screws can be removed [ failure to remove staking will likely result in broken screws....] Heat up alum with heat gun &...

How much improvement will I see?

Why is the 60' so slow with 4.30 gears? Does it spin at the hit? You better weigh the car before ordering a converter.

    Scampin!!!!!!

Scrolling through Fb marketplace I ended up grabbing another project. Did I need a snap on box? No. But for the price I paid with an extra upper how do you say no? Don’t know much about snap on stuff but I’m thinking maybe polish it up and keep the patina? Also if anyone knows where I can get...

I plan on shock upgrades and better tires to adress that part of it. Plan is for QA1 Double Adjustable Shocks on all 4 corners to go with my super stock springs and 6 cylinder torsion bars. Tires will likely be Hoosier Drag Radials. Cley

Intake manifold options for a Magnum 5.9/360

Forgive me, I actually did do a search on this but found nothing....which surprised be a bit. Regardless, I'm curious about what intake manifolds are available that fit a Dodge 5.9 Magnum engine. I'm looking for a basic dual plane mid rise single 4 barrel design. I remember this one...

Butters "Winter Upgrades". . Starting a Little Early

Hope you feel better soon. The picture of the pedal above looks about right to me. So I don’t think they used a B-Body. I’d be interested in the bracket, but trying to limit purchases to what I need now rather than what I will need later.

What is the current converter? Current 60 ft is soft for the ET/MPH. It will be quicker with a better converter - IF you can hook it up.

    freeing a stuck carb

Warm up the shaft area with a heat gun, one shaft at a time [ to expand the alum, create a gap ]. Dribble some ATF over the shaft. Twist the shaft gently. Be gentle or you will twist the shaft & t/blades will be out of sync.

I have a 74 Duster with a 360, A500, 4.30 gear. I run 275-60-15 drag radials. Approximately 3500 lb car, maybe more, I will weigh it in the spring. My car is primarily a street car and highway cruiser, but i want to make it as quick as it can be for what it is. My best time to date is a 13.36 @...

    340 torque converter...

You'd think, but not long after the 7/70 warranty ran out on My '88 ShelbyZ, nobody sold struts or shocks calibrated for the stiffer springs & stabilizer bars........it was one strut/shock fits-all......I talked to a Cardone Rep who said I could send My struts & shocks in & they'd rebuild them.

Feel like my 440 should be faster

Stock port/valve 452 heads have me scratching my head when you have a nice size roller cam, roller rockers, etc. This is holding back your motor on power. 3.23’s got to go if you’re looking for snap your neck performance. Put 3.91’s in first and see if you’re happier with the performance, should...
