    Are dart sports mostly gone

Yep, just wish my '73 had come with the '74+ setup. They are cleaner than the aftermarket stuff just with the retractor hidden in the body. The braces appear to actually ad some stiffening. I plan to add something as the project moves forward after it is driving. Should be able to look for a...

    NSS Inline 2x4 Intake

I have a standard port A&A Max Wedge intake on my 63 that I cut the top off of, filled all the corners in, did a lot of welding pieces inside, then welded the lid back on and finished it so it near looked cut apart. Now, it actually has some throttle response, but still probably doesn't perform...

What hood scoop on a First Gen Barracuda?

That's not a chevy scoop, it's an oversize '70 roadrunner scoop.

Magazine cars. How many on the forum?

Same here. Shot the same car twice. That's ok, we have no control with what they do.

    SBM 340 Rear Main Cap

I have a 340 block with no mains. I was hoping I could use 318s. My machine shop just informed me the rear main is too short. Nobody makes one. Anybody have any suggestions? At least, any help on specs and dimensions to have one made? First post, have mercy, thanks

Replacement 68 340 four speed cams

As a young man heading down the straight shot road, County Rd 47 in the late evening flat out with the stock '73 Barracuda 340/727/3.23 > 340 cam of course. The front end was literally floating with the natural ups and downs of the road, remember it well. She was flying, those were the days...

    400 builds-anybody?? NON STROKER!

I am using TRW 2266 440 pistons which were a little heavier than the factory piston. I ended up finding a used set of lighter piston pins (I think from an old set of Ross pistons) and used them to offset the weight difference. The piston/rod assemblies weigh within a few grams of stock weight...

Lightweight flywheel options and selection criteria.

Nothing progressive about not being stuck decades back. If some insists on running a toggle switch clutch then use a 30 pound wheel. Thats what it takes. And they are miserable to drive. But by gar orthodoxy says heavy flywheels for street driven cars so never question orthodoxy.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning Woke up to the news that my father in law has passed away. We used to be as close as in-laws could be but the events from two years ago, we became estranged. By his own choosing. Wife is acting numb to it as she says she’s been dead in his mind since but I think it’ll hit her hard very...

    [WANTED] A-Body Big Block Headers

Just be sure the headers are for the B motor, the RB headers hang bit lower and you be customizing them by scrapping them on the ground. Just my thoughts from observation of a friends car with RB headers on a B motor.

Feel like my 440 should be faster

If you’re looking for a big move in the seat of the pants feel, the TF heads and a good 9.5” or 10” converter is the right call.

Magazine cars. How many on the forum?

I had my 70 Charger in a feature article of Mopar Muscle and a brief article in Mopar Collector Guide. I was hoping at some point my Duster may make it but sadly there aren’t too many magazines left any more. I still love seeing full layouts of cars instead of pics on a phone.
