440 Need help figuring out what cam is installed

If you’re interested in running the engine prior to the install, call around to some engine shops in your area. Someone might have a run stand they’ll run your engine on.

Thank You Canada for fire help

The West Coast will definitely have to change something. Another issue in Ca. is Home owner insurance. Just the other week, the talking heads were discussing and cussing the Ca. Insurance Co's. that were stopping coverage in Ca.

    New EQ Head port misalignment?

And remember magnum heads DO run just fine with cracks, until the crack makes it's way across the valve seat. Then you have valve sealing issues eventually.

440 Need help figuring out what cam is installed

Great idea! Would be nice to have a run stand to do this, but I don't want to buy something and use it just one time and have it sit around unused for years. That's what my engine stand and hoist do most of the time already :)

[WANTED] I want to buy custom 1973-76 front disk rotors redrilled to small bolt pattern 7/16 lugs

Doctor Diff offers a kit with the late disc setup redrilled to the 5x4" pattern, as well as all the peripheral parts you'll need for the conversion. Be aware when you're shopping these parts that the late rotor also needs to have the bearing hub turned down to fit the 5x4 center register, and...

    New EQ Head port misalignment?

That's how I see it too. It would be interesting to see the same ports from the head side to see if the tops of the intake mismatches just as bad the opposite way.

Really appreciate all the input guys. I'm going with Rusty Rat Rod and others advice to get in and get it running. Will let you know how it shakes out in a couple months when I get the remaining parts and install it. Cheers.

    Factory Service Manual Photo Request

I'm working on a '67 Dart, but I only have a '67 Plymouth manual. Ordinarily it wouldn't matter, but I'm working with wiring, so I want to make sure I have things correct. My request if for a photo of the trunk wiring harness wiring schematic for a '67 Dart. Thank you!

Using an automatic housing with a manual flywheel? Can it be done?

Just use a neutral balance 130 tooth flywheel and the gutted case you have. It should work just fine for what you're wanting to do.

    I’m getting old

The guy "damn we are getting old!" I am proud top say "I am old!" I never thought I would make it this far, 77 in Feb. But, I say, the good Lord has watched over me many times. There is no other explanation. Mom would have said, the Lord watches over little children and fools!!! OK...

    Random pictures thread

Damn! All I see is a split second view of an old Ford pickup, and then I get a "Video Unavailable" message. Hopefully there's no "bumpside carnage" shenanigans going on.... (Edit: Ok, I found a work-around, and all I can say is, Thank God!)
