Where it turns upward in the image, it goes up to the firewall harness clips and then turns and runs toward the bulkhead where just before it, 2 of the wires terminate into connectors. the 3rd wire continues to the DS inner fender and along the forward light harness and out at the starter relay.

The OP talks about not being worried about being original but is stuck on having a 340 block. Your gonna pay a lot more than it's worth to have that extra. 040 bore diameter lol.

Looks like a great build! I have a similar cam and NZ EQ heads on a stoke stroke build. Gives me an idea for when it’s time to freshen up the bottom end. Do you think a 110LSA, 106 ICL would have made a big change in this build?

Nice old truck, any chance you can drag it out of the snow to some type of shelter or at least invest in a car cover or a tarp to protect it from the elements? When I bought my 68 Barracuda convertible that required my Ram 3500 4x4 outside so I invested in a $150 5 layer cover to protect it...

Man I remember helping my buddy with his 6 pack what a pain! Make sure the carb and gaskets are lined up properly and tune the center carb with the linkage disconnected, we had the same issues of unstable idle ,it takes time but once you get it it works pretty good until you build a bigger...
