If I remember correctly I put the rubber on the glass and the ran some twine around the outside channel of the rubber, leave extra twine exposed to pull on, set the glass in rubber on the outside of the car and pulled the twine from inside the car to install.

No, I wasn't using the pertronix, I was using Holley's ignition module, coil and distributor all hyperspark branded stuff, never could get that stuff to work right, so I went back to the pertronix distributor and an Acell coil and it runs fine with that setup.

It will self learn with or without the Hyperspark distributor, I run mine with a stock ignition.

If you plan to tow anything I wouldn't do it. I leave this video link for you to digest

Best I could do on a photo as I didn't take one before the trim went on, but I would trim the top just below the trim mounting holes. You can set the trim in place an then put some masking tape along the bottom edge as a reference guide line.

I got my factory reproduction engine and dash harness from YearOne, but when I bought them they were half the cost of what they now. Not sure who made them for YearOne, but they are/were great kits if you want a factory style harness.
