Let’s see pictures of your rides!

A couple of my favorite most recent pictures of the Jaundiced GT (my '71 Dart GT), with some friends, at the 2024 North Gratiot (Avenue) Cruise in metro-Detroit. It was a crappy, rainy day but we were able to get out for a few hours.

    The road through your windshield

Not through my windshield, but through my buddy Frank's '70 Charger R/T. My Jaundiced GT is 2 cars ahead of Frank. This photo was taken on the "drive/cruise" portion of our Tuesday evening ice cream gathering. If you're from metro-Detroit, and you like ice cream and cruising, you should join...

    [WANTED] DRIVER'S SIDE FRONT MARKER LIGHT '70 - '71 DART / DEMON

Do you have pictures of the backside, how this assembly comes apart? Specifically, how do you replace a burned out bulb? I can't get my old ***/neck up in the fender well to see what I need to do. TIA

    Free 2D CAD Program Suggestions

I'm looking for a free 2D CAD program for home use. What do you use/suggest? Before I retired from Chrysler (aka Stellantis), in November 2024, I used AutoCAD 2021, so I have some background with CAD. TIA for any opinions!

    Brutal Valentines Day

Not much of a Valentine Day here. My wife was diagnosed with Covid the day before. We had planned a nice lunch out, that'll have to wait for a bit.

At what age did you start smoking....

I started around 18 (it was the "cool" thing to do) and quit when I was about 24. It's been 40 years since I quit!

    Lifespan of shock absorbers

The jounce & rebound seems to be OK, I don't see any leakage or damage on them. I might just change them out this spring/summer, I mean they've been holding the car up for at least the 22 years I've owned it. :thankyou:

I just got the nod from our financial advisor, and....

Health care was a major concern for me as well, as I was diagnosed with a rare liver disease (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)) on February 6, 2022. This disease has no known cause, treatment or cure. With that said, I go through a barrage of tests, procedures, bloodwork, etc... every 6...

    Lifespan of shock absorbers

Many of our cars don't see the driving duties they were built for back in the day. I've owned my car for almost 22 years and I think I've travelled about 13,000 miles in those 22 years. With that said, when do you replace your shock absorbers? Do you base it on time? Do you base it on miles?

Do any old timers remember seeing these on a 1971?

I believe my '75 Swinger had those on it when I bought it (1979ish)! Somewhere along the way, they disappeared.
