    Battery Recommendations..

The BCI (Battery Council International) Group size top post battery for a 1972 Demon is Group 24, without suffix lettering. Group 24H and 24T are ~1/2" and ~3/4" taller respectively. Group 24F and Group 24R are the same in size, but have the battery post terminals reversed for Ford and other...

Square bore to not so spread bore?

The Edelbrock 500 AVS2 is in no way shape form or fashion "too big" even for a stock slant 6. They are extremely tuneable to a wide range of engines. I simply would not use a 60 plus year old carburetor when there are much more better, modern options out there......unless of course it's a budge...

Square bore to not so spread bore?

I might give a ASV2 a try if this starves it. For now I’m just trying to put together what I have. Nothing is going to set in stone. I appreciate all the knowledge.

1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 Sold at Mecum today for $40,000

B Beside the "shiny" thing, "they" promoted clear as a supreme??? "method? to protect from UV rays. But can not a single stage possess such chemicals to do the same? When bc/cc came out, "they" proclaimed it would be so much cheaper to make repairs on existing topcoat> really?? NOT...

Do any old timers remember seeing these on a 1971?

I believe my '75 Swinger had those on it when I bought it (1979ish)! Somewhere along the way, they disappeared.

I've spoken with him a time or two this past year. They are doing well. Cody is doing his cool metal skull mounts and they are hunting and such. I'm overdue to call him again.

Not to mention you can spray clear coat over single stage. There are additives that will make it not as glossy. I'm just not a fan of base/clear.

1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 Sold at Mecum today for $40,000

I agree, but I bet very few really rare and high end cars get the correct single stage anymore. I hate seeing clear peeling off any car, and I would rather sand and buff a single stage to revive old paint, but metalics pose their own issues. Trying to convince a guy to use single stage is like...

You can add some color to the clear coat to tone down that overly glossy look and still have the paint protection and system in place. ns1rm21, did that with a T/A he restored.

I think all these older cars look much better in single stage. They have a "fake" look about them in base/clear, IMO.

What timing cover are you using with a 7.3 inch damper

are the highlighted marks dirt on the balancer or is the metal cracking? The 2 up and down lines seem to have been there out of the box A

[WANTED] '65 Barracuda fuel vent line

I'm looking for a fuel vent line for my '65 Barracuda. It's missing on my car - there's only a rubber hose right now. It should be the same for 64-66 Barracudas, but the Valiant and Dart ones appear to be different due to the unique Barracuda trunk. Photo for attention only.

Thoughts of a Challenger T/A scoop on a 71 Demon?

I have always loved the TA's and everything about them, had 5-6 decades ago, but I would get really excited if a complete TA fiberglass hood could be had for that Demon!!!!!!
