Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good luck, he's not walking on your back or snapping your head left/right hopefully! My daughter does massage, she went to college and has a 2 year degree that includes a bunch of physiology, not sure what/how much school it takes to be a chiropractor tho, good luck!

New to me 74 Dart Sport.

It's not an A body but I picked this up for $200 bucks. It's a factory 96 V8 auto trans with only 47,000 miles on it. It was a customer's truck until a huge Oak tree fell on it. OUCH!

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Against my better judgment, I'm off to see the masseuse/ chiropractor one more time. I think this will do the trick finally. But I'm going to tell him if he hurts me again, I'm going to hurt him. Lol

    Hurst Super Shifter parts.

I bet you could find one at the hardware store that has the right length shank, may have to cut the threaded part down the size. Use a hack saw and then belt sand / grind smooth

    Cheap 318 performance mods.

This is definitely the case for me. I'm still running a stock converter behind my stroker poly and I've received advice that a higher stall converter would be beneficial but the thought of working under the car, unbolting the transmission and swapping it over just doesn't appeal to me...

Anybody know anything about flowers? Question?

It's great that you were able to identify the species of the plant and found some to plant along your walkway! It's disappointing when they don't thrive as expected, but it sounds like you're planning to give it another shot in 2023. Maybe checking out a California super bloom wildflowers guide...

    Clear float bowl plugs

From my experience with the plastic (clear acrylic) is that tend to dry out and break in half right at the threads. Then you have the threads stuck in the bowl and nothing left to grab onto to get them out. You end up having to take the bowl off and drill a hole in the threaded to remove...

    Clear float bowl plugs

I think some folks are confused about the old plastic sight level plugs, which were supposed to be temporary, and the new permanent glass inserts that are used. Lots of new carburetors come with glass inserts now. The Holley Ultra double pumpers like the one I have on my Duster (0-76750BK) do...

    Driveshaft question

You existing trans mount should work fine although I do not have much experience with spool mounts. You will gain durability with the 727 but no performance gain whatsoever, the 904 takes less HP to operated and cheap 2.75 planetary gears are available for it which help low to moderate HP...

    Cheap 318 performance mods.

I hope you don't think that's what I was implying in my post. I was not I was simply giving him my experience. I'm all for building a budget 318 but in my situation the cost was gonna be the same 318 vs 360. So for my budget it was the best bang for my buck to go with the 360. I was in no way...

    Clear float bowl plugs

If you leave them in... they get soft. I did that once, figured it out and put the brass plugs back in.

The Quick Fuels all have glass sight plugs retained by snap rings and sealed by o-rings. They don't fail.

    Need some info/help

[1] If the lifters are new, they should not have oil in them. Push down on the plunger, & without oil in them, you will get 0.125 - 0.180" of plunger movement. That is the pre-load available & the lifters can be set anywhere in that range. Some people like to set the PL 0.020", or a small...

Paint it, Clear it or Let It Rip?

You missed a spot. Ha Ha. Seriously, It looks really good. That is an amazing idea. A few years ago, I had a big problem with sealing the housing to a new Eddy Air Gap. I tried several gaskets with several types of sealant, and I tried filing the surfaces to flatten them. I finally bought a...
