    New Batteries for Worklight

Wow, that's a huge capacity!! I think Panasonic and Samsung are two of the best. Eneloop and Orbtronic use Panasonic cells, I'm not sure who uses Samsung. If you buy generic ones, I'm sure they'll work just fine, just maybe not last as long.

    72 duster resto

I just put a cam in my 440, I used one of Comps kits for all of the parts. Break in went fine and so far I have 20 miles on it.

    New Batteries for Worklight

Get a good name brand for them as well. I haven't seen any with that capacity before, but I'm sure they must exist. I've had good luck with Orbtronic. I believe they use Panasonic batteries. I have a set from 2016 and a set from 2019, both sets still going strong.

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I bet we made it about 40 minutes, ut we all kept taking turns, so lots of rest between, but like you said, the kids weren't focused after a while. My buddy's dad drools over my 308 everytime we go, he always offers to buy it, but never a serious offer. Not sure I'd let it go anyway, I have...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

We ended up going last weekend. We invited my son's friend and his dad to join us. The rental youth guns they had were slim pickings. The first one was a youth 20 with a 32" barrel, which was pretty hard for the boys to swing. We went back for another one and we got one that was shorter...

Brake Improvements - Looking for thoughts

I just went out and measured (well attempted to) pressures. Front left gave me 700psi under what I consider a normal pedal effort and 1400 under a panic stop Front right gave me 800 and 1500, so those make sense. I went to do the rear, removed the bleed screw, put my gauge in, and have zero...

They are from SSBC so they should be stainless.

Brake Improvements - Looking for thoughts

Yes, it's a 440, here's pic from cruising this weekend. I was trying to look around on here for the pedal ratio to confirm, I have seen someone say it is 6.5:1, but when I threw a quick tape on mine, it was closer to 5.5:1, a little lower than what it should be for manual brakes. I'm...

Brake Improvements - Looking for thoughts

The pedal is hard and sits at the top of the travel, there is no spongyness to it when I start to brakes. The hardliners are about 2 years old and the flex lines are all braided stainless, also just a couple years old. I do have a line lock on the front circuit, I could remove it and see if...

Brake Improvements - Looking for thoughts

The pads were properly bed, when I switch to the Power Stop pads, I'll make sure to follow their procedure. I don't expect to lock up the rears since they are 315mm wide ET Streets, the fronts are 215 BFG GForce Comp TAs, a grippy tire. I had read that too about the master, I currently have...

Brake Improvements - Looking for thoughts

72 Duster 440, 4 Speed 215s up front and 315s put back. For front brakes I am running the SSBC 11" 4 piston disc conversion, which I think just use KH calipers, with their upgraded pads, it have a set of Power Stop pads ready to install. A153 Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit, Mopar Non Power...

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

I'd guess no less than 35k, probably closer to 45. Edit: labor ranges from $120-170 an hour around me, depending on shop. The hemi is what's throwing me off, I know what they cost to buy, but no idea on a rebuild, I assume it's considerably more than a 440. Either way, awesome build and...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I'll have to see what stations they have, I have only done sporting clays and honestly don't know the difference between those and skeet and trap. I've got some homework to do!! This is my local range that we go to. Shooting Ranges in Michigan - Michigan Shooting Centers

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I feel like you are right, they are mostly a sporting okay range, so they should have youth stuff. I'll have to see what options they have for shooting, their sporting clay course is fun, but takes a few hours, might be too long, especially if he isn't doing very well. We have a local park...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

That might be worth looking in to for sure. He seems to enjoy it and is pretty good for just starting out. We want him to try shooting trap as well, the middle school here has a trap team. They rent shotguns at the range, I need to ask if they rent youth ones next time we go as I only...

    Guns, Dogs and Blades QnA

I took advantage of the sunny weather today and took my son (10) to the range again. He did excellent for his 2nd time out, he mostly shot my Tikka T1x, and a 22lr AR and even put some rounds through my suppressed 300aac AR. This was 60 rounds at 50 yards, I'd say he has a ton of potential...

    Some snags with my conversion

I've got one of those for quart sized bottles and gallon sized bottles. They can be a life saver! I like the treaded piece to screw into the fill plug hole.

Anyone here with a dog that has had a TPLO procedure?

We looked into it as well, but with pre existing conditions, they wanted close to $100 a month for the one dog and about 50 for the other. Sadly, we no longer have an extra 150 a month laying around.

    Exhaust manifold gaskets

I have only been able to get my headers to seal with Remflex gaskets. I also have studs instead of bolts, so I just cut the bottoms out of the gaskets bolt holes so I can just loosen the header nuts and drop the gasket in place.

Anybody use the 440Source A/C body oil pan?

I got around to installing the new oil pan when I did my cam swap. I ran into the same issue as Fast340Cuda, even with swapping to the new 73+ style centerlink. I had to dent the pan about the same as he did to get it to clear the idler arm. I also had to dent a driverside header tube to...

    Crane CCH-312-2-NC

I finally got my new cam installed. It took a bit longer than expected, the valve spring removal tool I had ended up failing and launching some springs. I had to go find another one to use. My new intake didn't fit, which is why I made the other thread asking about calculating head milling...

Anyone here with a dog that has had a TPLO procedure?

I think by week 2 or maybe 3 we were doing a couple 5 minute walks a day. It was pretty quick before our dog wanted to be at 100%, but we had to keep her in a pen to keep her from over doing

Anyone here with a dog that has had a TPLO procedure?

They mentioned that to us as well, helping with a towel. We have 4 steps down from our doorway to the back yard, but the steps are big, like 2 feet each so she was able to get all 4 legs onto each step before going to the next one. We didn't need to help her as she managed just fine, but I...

Anyone here with a dog that has had a TPLO procedure?

Our pup had it done a few years ago, while she was recovering, the other one went out. Between the two procedures, she was drugged and in a pen for over 6 months. It took about another 6 months for her to fully recover, not sure if it was from the procedure or all of the meds she was taking...
