I prefer the brass plug, I don't plan on monkeying with the float level after initial setting. A terry cloth works just fine to capture any fuel.

I think it’s just the way the spring was clocked on the strut. Here’s a recent photo with them adjusted the same. Also they have the same part number.

I’m glad that they were able to get to the hospital. I had a heart attack and didn’t know it until a quad bypass later. That was five years ago hopefully we have a bit more time. As. stated above get plenty of exercise and eat right . Good luck to you.

I have one of their purple guns. Have yet to use it, but they have great reviews. I talked to Southern Polyurethane about it and he was familiar with it. Said it would work well for paint but that it was really better for a primer gun, but he had nothing bad to say about it.

Are the parts numbers on the springs the same? Did they have the same length sitting on your bench prior to installation? Something's not right.

so the drivers side takes the 3 pin style , but only uses 2 wires to work, but the passenger side is a spade terminal , and takes a single spade switch ? not the 2 spade switch , I will have to see if I can locate a single spade switch , thanks
