Calhoun, first is what is your intended end use? Do you mainly want a Cars and Coffee cruser or something with more zip. When building any project you need to have an honest conversation with yourself. Self, what have we got to start with and where do we want to get to for a completed project...

The grass always looks greener on the other side. LOL Pretty much anything from the factory was built to hold up for the service life. Finding a legit original spec HEI module is like finding a legit original spec ECU, or Duraspark or you name it. On the opposite pole we can look to the one...

Going back to the basics- here is why:

    Clear float bowl plugs

Exactly. That kind, the plastic thread in version, was made to screw in to replace a metal plug and was only supposed to be used to set the float height. Then you removed them and put the brass plug back in. They weren’t ever supposed to be left in place. The new ones that are permanently...

Playing with some 3D prints and paint that I might use on my car. I have tried acrylic paint, gilding, and Testors Enamel paint on the Isis figures. The camera is not picking the vibrance of the gilding. A bigger version of Isis might go in the front grill. Anubis will be placed on the...

1971 demon tire sizes for 15” wheels

255/70R15? that's like 29 inch diameter a bit too big. 28 inches is what I would consider max. 215/70R15 in almost 27 inches. You do not want to exceed 26 inches diameter in the front. So the sizes I've used before on 15 inch rims that worked with good effect are: 255/60R15 in the rear (27 inch...
