Here is the Factory lit showing the power top was standard on the 66 Valiant Signet Convertible [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
To my knowledge in 1966 they only came as a power top, there were no manual tops on a 1966 Valiant Signet Convertible. Just for 1966 not 63-65.
Where are all the 66 Valiant Signet Convertible owners?????? I need your help on data people.
My car is a Factory Blue top and the Frame is dark blue to match on my 66 Valiant. It is a power top as they all were on a 66 Valiant.
That would be excellent if you happen to locate it! Thanks!
Thanks much! I have only 6 tags including my own as of now. Long ways to go but will be cool if I can grow my Data Base into something of a larger...
Right now, S.O. dates. And if it was an ordered car or not. How many are factory 273 v8 and a general idea of the colors ordered on an average....
Wow, yours has a late S.O. date. The 66 year model was ended about 3 weeks after this one was scheduled for build.
Hi, I am trying to collect data on the 1966 Valiant Signet Convertible Fender tags. Looking to log and collect as many As I can document.
Any photos of the ding in the fender and the Fender Tag? Thanks!
Sounds like a great looking Barracuda!
That would explain the buffed paint, AA-1 silver was the only way you could have the buffed paint option.
Was your car AA-1 Silver?
Interesting facts, thanks for the help everyone. Its funny you say that the model had not been introduced yet. Ive always wondered about if this...
I see, so its the opposite and a early build is what you would say?

Let's see those 1966 Valiant signet converts![ATTACH]
Lets see those CC-1 light blue early valiants[ATTACH]
No, the 2 colors are not the same. They have different ppg formula codes, meaning they are not the same.
Thank you for the response, you are the first one I have got so far.
I wonder if they would fit a 66 Valiant? Lol. Mine are all cracking apart towards the top.
Wow, you have some cool valiant converts! That 66 commando 4sp is really cool!
Very nice! Can't wait to see it after you are done.
Yes, the l.a. plant had a different way of marking the fender tags.
Sounds good, thanks much!
