I have Reilly front suspension, so it wouldn’t matter about length. I’d just have to redo the linkage to the rack. But it would be nice to be able to reuse my good ignition switch and not have to redo my linkage.

Exactly... And I know of plenty of other examples... It's when you bring aftermarket parts into the mix that thing don't work.... I'll agree age, possible abuse/neglect can be a factor... But the original design was sound...

Think the key interlock is different on the 73. But should work. The main thing is the length as the power steering column is shorter and has a different coupler than manual steering.

What year steering columns will fit a 70 swinger? It’s a column shifted power steering car. Will a 73 work?

My 360 has a Howards flat tappet with 1.6 rockers, Currently I have a Crane dual spring, 150lbs on the seat and around 400 open. My camshaft is a little bigger though, from memory it was around 0.690" valve lift and 266-276 @ 0.050" It makes peak power at 6900 RPM, turns to over 7000

Need a column shifted… power steering column from a 70 dart. It’s For a 70 swinger… let me know what other years might fit.

Shop I worked at in the mid to late 80's got some of Fram transmission kits from time to time. They worked with no problems back then. For the price listed on eBay I would say go for it.

I have a JEGS 2.5" exhaust kit. Brand new still in the box. I am going a different direction since I got TTi headers, and I have heard the kit does not line up well. I travel up and down CA for work and can meet somewhere off 99 or I5. Or if you want to try and ship them, that works too! $175...

Put new carb on. First changed power valve to 8.5. Rejeted 3 up. Installed 50cc pump. Changed accelerator cam. Runs great...
