Since the replacemt ones are already painted I gotta stay with em. I did see an old post that said that the brackets i am pointing at in my pic of...

    Mopar Action magazine

That is Mopar Collector's Guide (why I cancelled my subscription years ago). That is NOT Mopar Action, which was the most useful one of the bunch. Best tech information available for both mechanical stuff and restoration. Best info about useful parts sources.

    Window Glass Question

It would seem your new shells are 3 years newer and won't work unless you do a lot of relocating of the brackets. I have 40 years in the body and fender field and have seen a lot of this. Some people will tell you what you want to hear and then sell you the wrong stuff anyway just to get rid of...

Doug's headers not fitting - frustration

I bought Doug headers for my 66 barracuda. Paid over 1000.00 for them and had a similar problem. The instructions where not that clear, So I called and asked what I was doing wrong. Turned out I had to cut the headers apart at the flange and the instructions said to do that only if I used...

    18" Subaru WRX Wheels?

Typically the Subaru wheels are in the +40 to +45 mm offset range, which is a bit on the high side for an A-body. With an 18" wheel and an 8" or 8.5" width it would work though, especially with a B-body rear although with those kinds of offsets a 68-70 would be better than the 65-67. It would...

    Vapor lock- additive?

Modern (if that’s what it really is because we are stuck with it) pump fuel has a fairly slow burn rate and it vaporizes very poorly. Pour a cup of pump gas on the floor and watch it. Then do the same with a race fuel and watch the difference. If you really want to check things out, do the...
