Something a little different at Keystone last weekend.

2500 pounds and the best handling car I’ve ever owned was fun, until it wasn’t. The super short wheelbase, a broken oil Line, and lack of habit of using my parachute bit me in the butt.

    Are you a narcissist?

"shut down" == "making them give up". I'm not a shrink so I'm not going to psychoanalyze, or pretend I have that ability to win an argument. You either have standing in a disagreement or you don't. Shutting down the discussion isn't "winning" the argument. btw, a true narcissist is hard to...

So, flasher/blinker switches. Are the new ones any good or spend time finding NOS one?

I have a 1965 barracuda it had a transmission with 2 cables and a floor shifter . I changed the transmission to a newer one , what can i do ?

If the OP still has his 65 seats, the 66-up console may not fit between the wide 65-earlier buckets. In 66 to go with the new console, the A body got much narrower seats

I Chose the 383 Big Block

I will change the pistons and the rings , connecting rod bearings and crank bearings and also do a home hone job on the cylinders put a new rear main seal in it and clean the pick up tube. Make sure it’s clean and clean the oil pump if you do not wish to buy a new one

1970 road runner wood grain steering wheel

Ya when I said my wheel is bigger I meant the column is bigger on the 70 and up and there is one available for the 70 road runner thinking maybe it might fit.

Something a little different at Keystone last weekend.

If I can be just under 2500 pounds I think my engine would put me in the 8's. I am shooting for under 3000 pounds with all steel body parts. I still have more weight I can get out of the car too

Ok. Seems like with it being near the bottom of the pan it would push oil up directly into the can if pressurized. Maybe I'm seeing the pan connection wrong.

    My Luck

A police man pulls over a car full of old ladies. Mamm, he says, you were doing 60 in a 30. She says the sign says 60. Mamm that is the route number. He notices all the passengers are white as a ghost. Are you ladies all right? One of the women answers. We just got off of Route 128.

'66 and up consoles don't fit between '65 and earlier seats, that's why the factory narrowed the seats in '66. OP, use the search feature, there's lots of threads on here about adapting aftermatket shifters into the '65 console, especially the Hurst Pro-Matic which looks basically stock. Here's...

'63 Valiant V200 wagon - heater blower removal

Yes, I do have the service manual; I was hoping I read it wrong. A couple other steps - drain some coolant, remove the defroster tubes, remove the radio to get to the cables... Prolly some other steps. 15 minutes? A child can do it? OK. Of course, I can do all these things. But given the...

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

That’s what I said the the builder. But he says that bellhousing sticks out to same level as filter. I’ll keep everyone posted. He just said that he turned it and it’s clearing the steering now. Says he doesn’t think its my original part (90 degree adapter, I’m assuming he means). But I don’t...
