It certainly did not have positive camber when I aligned it, but I have been meaning to bring it into work and double check. I have another project with low miles and the alignment changed quite a bit while sitting. Do poly bushings "settle"? It feels pretty stable at 75-80mph though!

    18" Wheel help

Check out Forgestar. They have some standard wheels but they can also customize offsets. I'm assuming they just turn the mounting pad down to what you need. Nicely priced as well.

I'm pretty sure that when I was there working on the car I dropped the butterflies and only raise them a little each one so that they're probably in the idle circuit just fine. The car was a mystery carb used he bought it already had like 65 in the primaries we didn't even get into the...

    18" Wheel help

Nobody has ever stepped up to the plate with Mopar specific wheels so what you are asking for isn't going to happen. If you want big, late model wheels on a Mopar muscle car you have to work the angles that people in this thread are telling you about. You can do a square setup with 17x8 Mustang...

Are you still going to MITP? And is this the engine that's in the car right now? If so, potential (local) buyers could see/hear it for themselves. (Nice selling feature!)

    More nonsense from NHRA Tech

Well honestly I can’t say how they govern this but I will say if we didn’t have team cars NHRA may have folded years ago. Not as often now but it was very common not to have full 16 car fields. Even today tracks in Washington state are usually short because of travel distance.

I just called 911 there's a big yellow ball above us. Been miserable all day and now the sun decides to come out. There was a horrific accident on the infamous 401 hwy just past our city. [FOR SALE] Poorly running slant six package for sale for $500.

This is a package deal of a poorly running 1974 model year Chrysler slant six engine. The block and heads are the ones in the first photo. They look really good because they have been painted in a high quality engine paint. The block is good, but the cylinders have low compression and bad...

727 lokar kickdown cable installation help needed.

i have question about the kickdown cable initial set up. I have a return spring at the transmission lever holding it forward as well as throttle return spring. Is there a junkyard gem slant six combo?

Cast crank engines have narrower rod journals don't they? I was wanting to pull the rods out of my '72 198 to use that engine for the lighter crank, and if I remember right lighter block. I am eyeing my neighbor's '80 or '81 van. A friend used to own that van and I knew that van when it was...

A-body armrest - stripped threads in door’s sheet metal

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. The car I’m working on is a 1971 Duster. I’m sure that one of these techniques will take care of my problem. If I use Super-Cuba’s method I may try to reinforce the cut with JB Weld since I don’t have access to a welder. If that doesn’t hold - I’ll have...

Regardless of their intentions, additional rules never ever "control costs." Additional rules ALWAYS drive the costs up. Look at your example, forced cut back on testing. This just kills privateers, they're gone! If I have an organization with four "teams" (cars), I can do four times the...
