The "Nobody will want it" 73 Duster Driver project

I wish I saw this earlier. I finished putting the rear springs, filled it (so I would not forget) and adjusting the height so I could drop it to ride height and measure for the driveshaft and noticed the bottom of the diff with a slight wetness. I thought maybe the gasket didn't seal, but now...

I saw my first Tesla truck today.

Agreed. My Daily Driver is a Honda Ridgeline (gets much better mileage than any of my 1/2 & 3/4 ton trucks for my 40+ mile commute), and it probably has more "truck-like" features and abilities than that Tesla. But I never refer to my Ridgeline as a truck.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

Lotsa words, coming at ya! Overall, yesterday went pretty well. It was good to be driving it again but it did feel really foreign to me after being stick in the Ram all winter. This car always feels so small to me. With the 904 it didn't really feel any different than I remembered, while just...

    Hot Mopar Babes III

A friend of mine had personalized plates that said "NUKEGM" back in the mid/late 80's on this car: Kind of fitting considering his name for it: "MX Cruise Missile". And of course Hot Rod mag wasn't going to show that....

    Look what I found today

Boy its really hard to see that Duster being used as a table. I am thinking of helping him get it running. I remember over 40 years ago when it was sold it had rocker geometry issues. It was going 10 flat when it was fresh and kept getting slower. This guy said soon after its purchase it ate...

Like ValiantS I have a Summit adj prop valve inline with the rear brakes, running Willwood up front and factory drums in the rear. Mounted the prop valve to the inner fender well by the shock tower.

    Your first mopar...?

I bought a new 1969 fastback barracuda 340,4 speed, sure grip on 10/25/68. It was by far the best car that I ever owned. I have a lot of nice cars both before and after. I won a lot of races with the barracuda. The only car that ever beat me was a 70 mach 1 Mustang with a 428 and 430 rear end...

    73 Duster build named Fred

Why do you guys insist on the damn spray. He will soon have a 9 second no adder car that he built with hard work not a 600.00 spray kit. Carb tuning will come after he gets the right converter for the car if nessesary.
