If it does not have a roller camshaft, you will need to add a ZDDP additive. I recommend Rislone, because it actually has zinc and phophorus in it. As stupid as it sounds, not all additives marked "ZDDP" actually have ZDDP in them.

The longer 833 input shaft uses the inner pilot hole of the early engine crank. Too long for gen 3 hemi. The Tremec with the Ford short shaft uses the outer crank register for pilot bushing or bearing on mopar similar to Ford. Could the Ford TKX have gotten the shorter GM shaft? Just quickly...

That's exactly why I use plain black lock strip and eliminate the stainless trim. But then. Vixen is a base model and didn't come with all those frilly things. lol

Not just faded but the chrome came off, it was applied to the outside. It might have been an aftermarket from the 80s glass was replaced then I have 2 NOS and they have the chrome in the center.

Looks like some new old stock kits from the 80's. They do not look new. Do you think the lip seals are still soft?

Also looks like the bottom under dash mounting bracket is a bit different then the 70 with only two mounting points… wonder if my old one will transfer over to the 73?
