I think I screwed up. I bought a disc caliper from rock auto (seems these are handed). When I took off the old caliper I noticed that the bleeder valve and brake line tying it together where wrong. So these are handed.. Is the reason these are handed is to get the air out with the bleeder...

I have a 742 8 ¾. It is leaking out of the front of the center section where it bolts to the drive shaft. I would assume that it is the Pinion seal. How is this replaced? Are there any special tools required?

Question, is this flexplate on the right way? I had an oil leak so I pulled the motor to take a look and the flex plate is tearing up the oil pan gasket. Maybe the pan was putonto tight?? Any advise?

I have a question regarding the 8 ¾ rear end. There is a foam gasket the goes in between the axle housing and the brake dust shield. Should I replace this or just used some RTV? The gasket is so cheesy that I cannot imagine that it would stop a leak but, I just want to see what others do...
