    Newbie Ram Air Question

I've done some googling, and found some opinions, but they just haven't been reassuring. How do the ram air, air-grabber, and shaker hoods work in a rain storm? Isn't there a risk of getting a bunch of water in the engine with these types of setups?

Truck 383 Different than car 383?

Hi guys and gals, I have an opportunity to buy a 383/727 out of a Dodge truck. From the various reading I've done on FABO I've learned that there is a difference between the 5.7 Hemi found in trucks, and those found in cars. Did the same apply to 383's back in the day, or are the car/truck 383's...

    273 Oil capacity

Hi all, I'm getting ready to change the oil for the first time after purchasing my B'Cuda and haven't been able to find much info about the oil capacity or oil weight used in the 2bbl 273 used in 1965. The oil pan is the stock unit. What weight, and how much do you use in your 273's?

    8.25 or 8.75 rear

I've been doing some research and so far, everything I've read says that I'm lucky my factory 7.25" rear-end isn't grenaded in my '65 B'Cuda. As it sits right now, the B'Cuda has the factory 273, but I plan on going either 340 or 360, depending on which I can find a better deal on. End game...

    Fender Tag Help

Does anyone have a good resource for decoding a '65 Plymouth fender tag? I've found several in-depth websites, but I've only been able to figure out bits and pieces. I've been going over mine, and have figured out some of it. For instance the 2nd row code is: AB DE...

Hi All, I first found the *-bodiesonly sites looking at some photo's on the FBBO forum. Gotta say I love all four forums. Awesome folks all around. Anyway, I picked up my first MoPar this morning. It's a '65 Barracuda fastback. You can see it here...

    '65 Barracuda Project

Well, this is going to be a slow, work as I can afford resto, but I figured I'd start a project thread to help keep me honest. I'm thinking about not painting it yellow. Here's the 411: VIN Decodes as a 1965 Valiant Barracuda from the Taxi price class, manufactured in St. Louis, MO...
