    Original alternator just went

    I have 1968 Dart GTS with an engine that is pretty built up Electronic distributor MSD ignition etc. The question can I or should I upgrade to a higher amp alternator and if so what else has to be done. Thanks Tom

    Time for new rear tires questions

    My 68 DartGTS has p245/60r14 that need to be changed. I would like to get the biggest widest tire possible but am not sure what is available. I don't know how wide the slot rims are or even how to measure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In advance, Tom

    Bottom of lifter worn thru

    Just pulled my hydraulic flat lifters on one side and one of them is worn on the bottom with a small hole. Any ideas on what happened here. Can I just change one? The cam looks fine some very fine blueing like it got hot a little. I really can't afford to change both at this time.

    Engine back fire

    My 340 started to back fire while cruising not while stepping on it or when it comes back down to idle. I will start working on it this weekend and was looking for some advice as to where start looking first. THe motor has a MSD ignition.

    Where to buy steering wheel wire harness

    What do you guys like for ignition upgrade

    I just rebuilt my 1968 340 Dart GTS. New forge crank & pistons also upgraded cam to high streetable one. Also have a 650 demon carb with a small nitrous shot 75-150 hp. This is just a weekend driver with 3:91 gears and a few times a year at the 1/8 mile strip. Just wondering what you guys...

    power bulges?

    I have a 68 Dart GTS 340 and I am thinking about putting in a Nitrous works plate system in, the Plate will be 1/2" which means I will have very little hood clearance. The Question is were the power bulges on the hood just for show, or can I get them to work for better air flow? Thanks tom

    3 speed would like lower rpm's hwy?

    Hi, I have a 1968 DartGTS 340, whats the cheapest way to get lower rpm's, Tires/axel would that really make much difference? I have 391 rear end and don't want to change that becuase i do take it to the 1/8mile track. Anyway any ideas would would be great help to this weekend warrior...

    340 stalls out when @ 200 degrees

    1968 Dart GTS 340. I used to have an old carter on it and changed the carburator to a Demon. when that didn't work I also changed the intake manifold gaskets. so now I think it's ignition but the only thing I have done so far is change the ballest resistor, which didn't change anything...
