Ok..I will freely admit I cut a few corners to hear the engine in my project run. It's basically an engine stand while I do the body work. Here's the odd thing though.... Last year I put in the rebuilt 340 into my 68 cuda, hooked everything up (with new plugs and wires but 40 year old wiring)...

Gotta make the 727 shift on the column so I can put in the bench seat and sit next to my girl......the 904 rod just doesn't work...

I'm rebuilding my 67 cuda vert automatic. I have a pretty good dash harness from a 68 cuda 4 speed car. Any glaring issues with using the 68 harness that anyone can think of? It has very little time on it.

Does anyone know the font for the numbers on the 68 340 and 383 hood plates? I am thinking of making carbon fiber replicas, but I want to get the numbers right..... Thoughts? A good photo with actual dimensions would work too.

I'm about to go to paint (this year) and I want to get the stripe correct. If someone has a survivor with the correct stripe could they chime in and let me know - the width of the center stripe and the small stripes, and the spacing between them? I have seen a stencil for sale. Hans anyone used it?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the center stripes on a 67 cuda? I know there are stencil kits - but I'd really like to know the true dimensions... I'm guessing 4 inches for the center and 3/4 inch for the small side stripes....
