Two of us installed a 383 engine with attached Transmission into my '68 Dart in about 10 minutes. We used a CherryPicker up top and a transmission Jack underneath. No big deal. And Don't Forget to Hammer flat the seam in the Transmission Tunnel before you start the heavy lifting.. -

Yes. I have always checked Transmission Fluid Level with engine Running and transmission in NEUTRAL. The Fluid behaves as it always has done... -
