There are different methods of PDR. One of the methods uses tools that push from behind the dent. I've got a set but haven't spent much time with them. I would think this is the option for heavier gauge sheet metal. I have tried the glue method but it never seems to adhere well enough.

I like the Revell chrome paint. A chrome paint pen might work for letters and thin areas....haven't used it much.

That just tells you it had more usable power in the rpm range at use which is great if your selecting a cam for race. If you are looking at factors for the street you might make a different choice. Again, its intended purpose and it doesn't mean a narrow LSA is best.

the '68 340 speed was cam was 114 LSA. I haven't heard anybody say the engine was a dog. Its foolish to look at one number without considering all the other cam and engine specs.

I would go roller if you want a cam that needs higher spring rates. I did this in my 408 stroker. It was an impressive engine. For my latest stock 340 build I used an Oregon flat tappet cam.
