I’ll look into the price of the store unit. Tell my wife it will make more space around the house too

Again great info, on the ridgedity of the car. Not worried as much about resale but don’t want to ruin it. Did that once with my first car. Cut the roof off of my $400 68 Fury wagon. It didn’t sag enough to mess with the doors fitting or anything and having a topless car with 3 rows of seats was...

    Mopar wagons

What happened to the “show us your wagons” thread? I was a member years back when I had a 65 Dart wagon. I loved that thread. Also seemed pretty popular

Would it be a sin to cut the top off to make it a non convertible? Would that even work structurally?

Trying to figure out the easiest way to get it mobile. I have no preferences on motor or transmission. It looks like an auto console car. But I would be perfectly happy to toss a slant auto in it for the time being. Or anything else that I can afford right now

I appreciate that. That’s why I’m so on the fence. The body style is growing on me though.

A little more info on the deal. The car belongs to a friend of my brother’s Dad who has too many projects. My brother is willing to help them transport an old Range Rover Defender from the Midwest and they offered the Barracuda to him. My brother is planning to retire to Europe in the next few...

Hi guys, I am a member that used to be pretty active. But sadly I sold my 65 Dart wagon a few years back. But I have an opportunity to get another A body at a great price. It’s a 68 Barracuda coup or notch back. I’m kind of concerned about the amount of work and cost. I just want a running...

Can I use the defroster if I have bypassed the heater core?

I have yet to see the windows frost in the 7 years I have been down here. (from Bay/Sacramento area) Thanks for the info. If I was somewhere colder, like where my folks are from in Kenosha Wisconsin, I would have replaced the heater core. Here, I am fine with the temp. LA weather forecast is a...

Can I use the defroster if I have bypassed the heater core?

The heater core was leaking onto the passenger floor so I bypassed it. It never gets cold enough to worry about it here near the coast. But I am wondering if I will hurt anything by turning on the defroster. Will it do anything at all? I thought if it was fogged up the air blowing on it might...

    Crap! My tailight fell off

Got home Friday night and the passenger side tailight housing half that is attached to the tailgate ( or is supposed to be ) was gone. It had been sort of loose for a year or so I guess. I must have hit the speed bumps too fast on the way home. Anyone have or know of one I can get to replace...

I came to post of a similar issue with the wives mini van. Not Mopar. But the question I had was the car will cool to the middle of the guage if we turn on the heater. I replaced the thermostat yesterday, and she just called that it did it again. Any ideas?

    Found 1964 Barracuda

"Hope not over doing it here on the photos? " That made me laugh. I doubt you will ever hear a complaint here about too many photos. Also got a kick out of the 8 year old working with the paint stripper. Brings me back to my own childhood.

    Coming out

Personally, it is much more important that you like the right kind of cars. And you have that down. Now that I think about it, maybe I should not get upset if someone gets exited about a car I could never be attracted to. No, sorry, I guess I am a Mopar bigot.
