    Can you identify these?

If I'm not mistaken they are for under the dash to hold part of the harness wires up from hanging that make there way across the dash, just under the ash tray.

    318 has developed a miss?

So I finally figured out what was causing the miss. It was a spark plug wire that I had not fully seated the wire on the tip of the plug and after a while{ quiet a few miles} it burned the end of the wire which was causing the miss. Thanks for every ones input. :violent1:

    318 has developed a miss?

It's been about 6000 miles since I tuned up and installed the motor. Why would the alternator dip every time the miss hit's . Would a bad spark plug do this? I was thinking the cap and rotor, the wires all look good. I will have to pull some plugs and take a look.

    Whats everyone running for gears?

My new 8 1/4 has 3.21 gears, is that not normal? It has the tag still attached to the cover. My old 7 1/4 had 2.76 gears which were a lot better for hwy driving. Not sure I like the 3.21, but they are fun around town or country driving.

Now the rear end shop I took my car to said that it needs a new axle? I guess you can slide the bearing on by hand? Should I waist my time with the 7 1/4 or install the 8 1/4 I have at my house? The guy I bought it from said it was fine and didn't have any problems. He switched to a 8 3/4.
