yes mine do look like those but they are the original gauges. my after market gauges are both mechanical style. and work fine.

mine was maybe 2-3 months. might I add the plugs are very black from the last 200 miles. but the car runs very good. so just thought something might be getting gummy from letting it sit.

problem fixed. it was the driveshaft that was made by the prior shop that is garbage. guess I should not have taken it for granted that it was good. but I was dealing with a few other suspension issues at the same time all could have been the problem. thanks for all your help

hi folks well I drove the car today with a different drive shaft and it was worse. so I feel the first shaft front u joint seemed loose very easy to swivel so I think I will just have the shaft balanced and new u joints and see what happens. it did come out of a b-body that I had cut to length...

I have another driveshaft I will try it is 48 inches long so a bit shorter but if I get different results then I will get the new joints on the first shaft. I did notice a lot of grease on my drive shaft loop which is at the end of the trans so maybe the bushing/seal is bad.

well you could buy a fiberglass six pack hood paint it black. and have the best of both worlds, it could easily be sold with the car or for your next project. I did this with my 68 barracuda. never did put the stock hood back on.

hi folks well currently I just have a toggle switch with a fuse that runs from the fuse box and to the pump of course a ground back at the pump itself. been like this for 10 years just thought I would step up the wiring since I am going from a holley blue to a mallary 140 pump.

hey 73 I live in Moorpark 15 minutes from you and never had an issue with vapor lock. would I be wrong to suggest an electric fuel pump ? I have a 360/380 magnum crate motor in my 68 barracuda and those motors do not accept a mechanical pump so I have never tried one.
