    High quality lifters???

    Only few lifters had 1-3 "holes"(what was that word???crater???), and sized like this dot . not big anyway. I will check the cam from time to time. I Did the heads "myself", I said to the machinist to mill as much as he dares-> almost to zero deck. And the pistons are flat tops and they exist...

    Installed them! And yes. there was only minor surface imperfection, not holes! Works nice now. I´m very pleased with my combo: 440 030", ~10:1, 452 heads milled to 69cc, ported in 270 cfm/0,5" lift, 67% ex, std size ferrea+K-line. comp xe 274 + magnum rollers, Torker II+750 speed demon, 2" CPPA...

    leaky valve covers.. decent size leak(s)

    I have bad experiences with those cheap crome covers(came with the engine). If you look those closely and compare them with orginal or aluminium, you see the difference why those can NOT work! The contact area of cover to gasket is only 3-4 mm wide compared to 6-8 mm in Mopar perf or others and...

    I bought new valvetrain parts, and cleaned my new hyd. pro magnum lifters and found out that half of the set has a few holes in the bottom??? Really small ones, can´t feel them but visible. We compared to other brand and yes, the same thing, holes. Does it have any affect to my extreme enyrgy...

    Question bout headers

    No need to cut anything with SB+headers, exept some competition models. Even with RB+2" I did NOT have to cut anything! No holes in fenders! Hedmans have been quite popular, fits quite nicely.

    The Purpose Of 1.6 Rockers

    One small thing is the mass of lifter(s) and pushrod(s), more camlobe moves that mass more it robs hp(inertia), and the valvespring has to push that mass back. With 1.6 or 1.7 rockers you can use "smaller cam". For me its allthe same, but there is people that hunts for that last horse(kW)...
