    what about a 413

8 3/4. Early C-body rear ends like that are the PERFECT canidate to be narrowed down as they also have non tapered axles that can be shortened and resplined. Also, IIRC, big drums.

How was it in the 60s-80s?

I drive my truck everywhere. It's my daily and hardly gives me any problems. Most of the problems I have had have been due to lack of maintenance on the POs. I always carry a small toolset with me, a decent jack, a spare wheel, and some wiring supplies. I need to get a spare distributor cap and...

Any interest in Skip White HEI walk through?

A lil more done today. Power post installed and ready for the ballast bypass. I plan on cracking open all the dried electrical tape and completely removing the ignition box from the engine bay and nicely wrapping everything back up after the swap is over to make it all look nice and neat...

    Thru the firewall connectors...

I'd ask Andrew (Blue Missile). I know he is running some in his Duster and he has almost as many electronics in his car as an F16 fighter jet. He posted a link to them in his thread. I'll try and see if I can dig it up as that thread is quite long EDIT: He used Cir connectors. Here's a good...

bad ground/connection. clean and check the connections at the headlight switch, hi/low foot switch, and headlight grounds. My truck did this for a while til I hammered out all that stuff

Yeah, I wasn't raw-doggin' it this time LMAO!! That's pretty neat. I was actually thinking about that earlier, just buying a big spool of 8mm wire and just buying a few boxes of terminals at some point so I always have plug wires on hand

That wasn't happening with these wires. I really tried to do that and it just didn't wanna go. I spent a solid 10 minutes trying to push the wire through to no avail
