Yeah I get that. My question is if I add the correct washer to each bolt, can I use the stock head bolts?

I've got a 360 and installing Edelbrock heads. The Edelbrock instructions say to use their head bolts, or use washers with any other bolts. My question: Can I use stock head bolts (except for position #5) as long as I use hardened washers with them? Is that what the instructions are alluding to?

I'm going to put this here, because it's the first of my videos that really shows some of my garage. It's where I spend my time, so it houses all my keepsakes, trinkets and stuff that most people consider worthless clutter.

This weekend I started on the engine. I got the core plugs in and the cam bearings. Two video's were made, and here is one of them.
