    Electrical problem with stereo.

Well I found a burnt/melted portion of the wiring harness behind the dash so I started to investigate further and soon realized that I was lucky the whole damn thing didnt light on fire lol. That wire had burned through several other wires it was next to. So I spent pretty much the whole day...

    Engine bogs, nearly dies?

once its warm, after punching accelerator and releasing the revs drop really low around 300-350 if not lower for about a second or two then returns to 700-750 rpms, normal idling.

    Engine bogs, nearly dies?

its not a steady stream just squirts, no smoke, its not an accelerating prob at all, its when the RPM's fall they fall too low and it almost dies. In fact if the engine is cold, it will die

    Engine bogs, nearly dies?

Well there is no hesitation or stumbling, I think "bogs" was a poor choice of words, it revs instantly but when the RPMs begin to drop they drop far too low probably 300-350.

    Engine bogs, nearly dies?

So if I punch the accelerator and quickly release it the engine bogs so low it nearly dies. It doesn't do it if the car is in park or neutral only when its under a load. It also doesn't do it if at speed say over 20mph. Only when between say 0-10 mph. is this a timing issue? Thanks for all the...

    Cam size and type?

I have a 1979 360LA motor in my Duster. As far as I can tell other than a edelbrock performer intake, a Holley street Avenger carb. (650?) K&N filter and flowmaster mufflers, (stock manifolds), its completely stock. I dont want to do anything like boreing the engine or swapping heads or pistons...

Trying to track down an electrical issue with my blinkers, and found a solenoid under my glove box housing, the cardboard like insert, that has a about 4 wires one of which tracks to just behind my instrument cluster and is disconnected. Anyone know what that solenoid is?

    Electrical problem with stereo.

OK whenever the car is not running ANY thing I do electrically will cause my speakers to "pop" and my stereo turns off, After about 2 or 3 seconds it comes back on. To include the dome light coming on the blinker coming on the headlights I mean anything that draws the slightest bit of power. If...
