    Now that all the bashing has ended. I realized it was a cast crank and i scrapped it, along with the 318 and a 340 i had laying around.

    Yes, it is the one in the picture and it came out of my 1967 satellite and is completely original. Everyone else says it is forged and not cast. So again my question is what is a forged smallblock crank worth if i decide to sell it?

    Was on the phone with edelbrock and told them my setup. These were the ones thy suggested. I wish they would have told me that I couldn't use the stock rockers. Would have saved me this frustration. I'm just worried I won't find all the metal pieces and have to tear down the engine.

    Do all A bodies have overheating problems?

    One other thing to mention, are you running a stock crank pulley? The larger the diameter the better cooling. I had a smaller march pulley on my 70 duster and it overheated. Once I swapped it out for a larger one, and left everything else the same, it cools much better. Haven't gone over 200 yet.

    is there a difference in the transmission crossmember on a 70 duster when doing this swap? I currently have a 1974 904 and I'm swapping in a 1968 727. I already know I have to get a new converter and have the driveshaft shortened.
